I am Hayoung Kim, a Systems Engineering & Design major at the University of Illinois, with a passion for innovation and accessibility. I have founded two companies, Bridgineering and DDOBAGI, where I focus on product development for individuals with disabilities and children's psychological health.

XAVIS Internship

During my internship at XAVIS, I redesigned the company's website to implement a new UI interface, creating a more user-friendly and modern experience. Additionally, I introduced ChatGPT and GitHub Copilot to improve workers' productivity.

Bridgineering - Wheelchair Power Assist Device

Designed a patented wheelchair device that enhances mobility through a lever-operated ratchet mechanism, making wheelchair use more efficient and adaptable for diverse needs. The patent shows the unique structure that facilitates this movement.

DDOBAGI Project Image

DDOBAGI - Board Game for Emotional Development

Co-founded a board game company focusing on promoting children's psychological health through Korean emotional expressions. We collaborate with counseling centers and have developed an app to make the game accessible to visually impaired individuals.
